Black History Month Essay Competition





The Office of the President is proud to announce this first annual Black History Month Essay Competition. High school seniors across Cook County are invited to participate in writing at 500-1,000 word essay answering the question, "Who or what inspires you in honor of Black History Month?" The winner of the contest will be awarded at $3,500 scholarship to support the winner's first year of college.


The deadline to apply is February 14, 2019.
