Three elected officials representing Glenview opened a shared “one-stop shop” office on Waukegan Road earlier this year. Now, State Sen. Laura Fine (D-9th), State Rep. Jennifer Gong-Gershowitz (D-17th) and Cook County Commissioner Scott Britton (D-14th) are planning a ribbon cutting and open house in the coming weeks.
A community open house at the office at 1812 Waukegan Rd., Glenview, is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 4. Fine’s office has been located at 1812 Waukegan for the last six years. Gong-Gershowitz moved in this January and Britton moved in one month later after a county committee approved his leasing the space.
Glenview village officials are reviewing an application for new signage listing the three local legislators for the office.
