Cook County Small Business Source Launches

At the beginning of May, Cook County leadership, along with the Bureau of Economic Development, announced a historic $37 million investment to support a network of more than 30 business support organizations in addition to upcoming small business grants at Cook County’s Small Business Source launch event.

Cook County's Small Business Source - the brand new name for the Cook County COVID-19 Recovery Small Business Assistance Program - reflects the County's steadfast commitment to the business community both related to and independent of the pandemic. The Small Business Source will help small businesses access funding and services to assist them in establishing long-term plans to thrive in their communities.

To date, Cook County’s small business assistance has directly served more than 2,500 small businesses through grants and/or one-on-one, no-cost business advising, and has supported over 10,000 small businesses with additional types of assistance, such as grant application assistance, access to online toolkits and checklists, and small group webinars.
