O wydarzeniu

Join Vision Morton Grove and Cook County Commissioners Scott Britton and Maggie Trevor for a screening of the documentary film, Waking in Oak Creek, followed by a discussion of how we can work together in our community to stand against hate. Prior to the screening, attendees are invited to a pre-program opportunity to view the onsite International Servant Leaders Museum of the Dehkhoda Educational Foundation beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Waking in Oak Creek reveals a community’s inspiring response after a deadly 2012 hate attack at a Sikh Temple near Milwaukee.

Vision Morton Grove is a group of residents working together for a more welcoming and diverse community and a community partner of United Against Hate.
