Cook County Sheriff's Prescription Drug Take Back Program

Do you have unwanted medication that needs to be properly disposed? The Cook County Sheriff's Office (Official)'s Prescription Drug Take Back Program offers Cook County resides more than 140 drop-off sites to bring their unused or expired prescription - and non-prescription drugs. An interactive map of locations can be found on the Sheriff's website.

Since its inception in 2017, more than 23,334,000 pills have been safely disposed. Pills can be lose or in containers, but liquids and syringes are not accepted.
