Arlington Heights Health Center Ribbon Cutting

Updated: May 10, 2019

On Friday, April 12, Cook County Health officially opened the Arlington Heights Health Center, formerly known as the Vista Clinic. This patient-focused health center is committed to providing quality, compassionate care tailored to the individual patient. Through this center, over 5,000 residents in District 14 alone will now be better served by Cook County Health - from primary care to dentistry to specialty care and support against food insecurity.

In addition to primary care services, this modern, state of the art facility also offers physical & wellness checks, pediatrics, prenatal care, immunizations, dental services, mammography and pharmacy. Mental health counseling services will be provided in the near future as well.

No individual is turned away based on insurance, or lack thereof. Options for payment include insurance via the patient's insurance provider, but individuals without insurance are served based on a sliding scale. Patients in search of an insurance provider are encouraged to learn more about CountyCare. Additionally, Cook County Health will assist in connecting residents to Medicaid. Cook County Health patients in need of transportation to a medical appoint can call (312)864-RIDE (733) to schedule a ride.

The opening of the Arlington Heights Health Center is a major step toward health equity and parity that all Cook County residents deserve.
